JSA
This course is designed to instruct participants on how to properly and effectively develop a safe work plan that is reflective of identifying each step and task required to complete a specific job. Hazards and mitigations must be identified for each step and task to safely complete a job. Participants will partake in a practical exercise, involving creating a sample JSA for a specific job provided by the instructor, including identifying potential hazards and risks within a set working environment.Topics Covered
- Understand how to recognize and use important safety and health terminology.
- Understand hazard identification and environmental impacts to performing and completing a job.
- Recognize how to properly identify steps/tasks, hazards within those steps/tasks, and mitigation methods for those hazards within those steps/tasks of the work plan.
