Air Monitoring
This course is designed to provide information and instruction on the proper use of gas detectors and air monitoring systems. Participants will learn about the methods used to detect hazardous gas levels. Participants will be provided various gas detectors during the course and learn about their operation and function.Topics Covered
- Review portable gas detector operating procedures and discuss potential hazards to ensure understanding of operating guidelines.
- Establish a uniform procedure for use, maintenance, and calibration within facilities.
- Protect the safety of employees and maintain asset integrity.
- Discuss calibrations and bump testing requirements.
